Unlike my other artworks where I held onto the idea before I painted it for months or years, this one came to me recently and I got to work almost immediately.
I started working on it with one meaning in mind, and later more layers of meanings opened up. So as usual, take from it what you see. I don't like to write about the meanings these paintings have for me because I want to allow people to interpret it freely for themselves.
Also, I discovered painting lace is so much fun.
