After a long break from painting "finished art" (I've been doing a lot of experiments in my sketchbooks), I started painting again—this time simpler paintings that take me less than a day to complete. If you're familiar with my earlier art, then you know that my acrylic paintings often take a whole week, or several weeks to finish, which I'm currently not able to pull off with my schedule. It's a challenge to come to terms that small and simple is okay, too.
I'm exploring a more decorative style with this new series of watercolor paintings that's coming up. See it's sister piece: Circuits.
The gold ink accents are very difficult to photograph from straight on, and impossible to scan, so I hope that additional close-up photo gives you a glimpse of what it is to look at it in person.
